I have recently got an Ormerod up and running however it has taken quite a while to calibrate because I was having problems with "Bulbous" cornering.

I have finally worked out today that it is because I was printing from Serial and not via SD & that has cleared the problems right up

I wanted to make a post incase anybody else had problems printing via serial.

To get good prints over serial, and good upload speeds to the SD card, you need to be using the "Advanced" install of Pronterface, and apply a patch to it. See [forums.reprap.org].
