Bed Temp

Hi Guys, I printed out the modified X motor mount IamBurney had modified tonight, ready to move the IR probe.
Hmmmm it was a long old job as I had missed one of the settings on the infill, and it was set at 0.75 instead of 0.45,
but I also had the bed set at 65'...... Unfortunately the two have had a real bad affect on the mount, as it warped by 3mm
on one end and about 2mm the other. (oh and I was extruding at 195' PLA).

So I'm going to have to bin the mount and start again.

I was thinking 90' for the bed. 0.45 for the infill and 180' for the extruder.

Can anybody suggest better settings for larger items like this please.

It's ashame as the prints good apart from the warping. Even the hex cut outs for the nuts look sexy.... (OK I have been at sea for three days now)....

Hi Kim, I printed it using my standard settings. Bed temp 60, first layer 195, other layers 190.

Hmm ok thanks DC.... Can you remember the InFill you used please?
I was using 65' for the bed and 195' for the Extruder and .75 infill.

Maybe the PLA I'm using is made from Lettuces then spinning smiley sticking its tongue out.... as it had so much warping.

I'll try again soon with a reduced infill... and a bed of 90'

Thanks DC, I guessed that me missing the 0.75 setting I used for something might have over cooked it...
