X- axis homing.....Question

I'm thinking I would like to change from using the I.R. Probe for homing to a micro switch.
If I re-call when I asked about this sometime ago someone said that it was possible and that the connections were similar to the Y-Axis micro switch, but using the I.R. Probe connection... So did I remember that right? and If I connected a N.O. Microswitch could I still use the probe for Z-homing for now... i.e. connect them both to the Duet pins?

Kim..

Hi Kim,

There is a discussion about a Z axis microswitch here. Maybe the X endstop wiring follows the Y,Z. (ie The 2 outside pins between the X axis red and E motor red)

Les

Thanks Les.... I'll take a look in a minute. I did ask about it a while back, but, pardon the pun, I've lost the thread....
