Please get rid of these GIF images

I'm sure that I will not be the only one who finds the GIF images at best: distracting, and at worst: intensley annoying.
Please can we get rid of them?
Greg

Moving images such as those in the title of Big Blue 360

I use adblock on my machines. Manually adding the following URL to the block list returns sanity:-

forums.reprap.org/mods/smileys/images/hot.gif

Thanks for that Steve
Adblock Plus added to Firefox.
Not quite sure how to add that URL ...

Click the adblock icon, then click options

Customize > Block an ad by it's URL

Paste in the above URL, then click 'Block It!

Off topic but... Adblock is superb by the way - it even gets rid of adverts on YouTube and streaming TV services such as 4OD and ITV Player.

Steve,
Not noticed any change yet.

Got the Adblock and Easylist subscriptions engaged, and the forums.reprap... in as a custom file - with its checkbox ticked
I notice that Afdblock reports 0 custom files.

Hmmmm. What am I doing wrong?

OK
Answered my own question.
I entered 'forums.reprap.org/mods/smileys/images/hot.gif' as the name of the custom file - not realising that I then had to open it up and enter it in as an actual filter.
Done that, and now those nasty moving GIFs have vanished.

Thanks again Steve

A very big vote of thanks to you Steve.

I realised today that my blood pressure is much reduced.
