Mr & Mrs Hoot have Brain Surgery......sad smiley

I printed Mr & Mrs Hoot above, at full size which took 4/5hrs... I was really looking forward to seeing the end result, till the last 10 miutes, and I saw they had clearly had Brain Surgery.....
Printed at 195' with 10% infill (Slic3r kept setting the temp to 255' I saw in the file BTW)...
Will try again tomorrow with 20% infill....

Maybe better to have more solid tops layers?
On 2nd tought: scrap that, looks like more than 20 layers from the top

I did a 60% scaled copy of Mr&Mrs Hoot with 20 Solid Top layers, and it came out perfectly.
I've also turned on ZLift on retract, with a height of 0.1mm, and that's made a big differance tooooooooooo!
The quality of the whole print has improved.

No, what it looks to me that it needs is more perimeters (i.e. thicker walls). It should then print fine without any infill given Kev's bridging ability.
