Printing result problem
May 24, 2014 11:50PM
Hi,

My print result is having imperfection at the edge at upper right corner (top view).

Anyone have idea what causing this? I have attached picture and gcode at below.

Thanks

I have a few suggestions:

* Check that you have retraction set to at least 4mm

* Try un-checking "external perimeters first". I find this gives better results.

* Your extruder temperature looks rather low to me, although the optimum depends on your filament. I use 195C first layer and 185C for the rest.

Hi Tat, I have a great respect for DCs suggestions, but I suspect it might be a bed leveling problem myself.
Looking at your pictures, the layers at the GOOD end of the print look a little tighter togeather than the Bad end.
Take a careful look at the print, or measure a number of layers at both ends to see if it's level.
Then lookat the other options as well.
Kim..

Hi DC, Kim,

Thanks for all the suggestions. I have check the filament feed, it feed slightly shorter than it should be. Therefore I made some extruder calibration again.

I have print a 2x2x2cm cube, it looks ok. Will observe from time to time.

Thanks
