this looks like a new fan duct design? Anybody knows where i can find the stl for that?

Yes, it does look like a new fan duct design. I find it odd that the photo shows the pins for the 6-pin connector crimped on already, but not fitted into the shell.

While we are on the subject on fan ducts, is it necessary to have a fan duct along with the heatsink duct?
Ive been printing without the fan duct all the time.

Will the fan duct add to something? Quality? Filament cooling?

The fan duct is needed for filament cooling when printing with PLA. Without it, you will not get good bridges.

I have been printing without the fan duct since I installed your sensor kit. I guess I didnt print anything that big that requires bridges. But I will install it just for future case.
