omerod 2 power supply on omerod 1

Hi Folks,

Anyone tried hooking up the Omerod 2 power supply to an Omerod 1?
I need a new power supply and was looking to swap mine out for a 12V system, which i assume is what the Omerod 2 now has.

If not, can anyone recommend a power supply upgrade for the Omerod 1?

Thanks,
T

I am using these:

[www.ebay.co.uk] (the 12V 300W version)

Only go this route of you are comfortable with doing mains wiring. Alternatively, a Corsair CX430M ATX power supply works better than the units supplied with the kit, but costs more.

I"m not that comfortable doing mains wiring.
I have a mate that has done this, but alas he's in Australia!

I like the thought of it, but 20A is pretty heavy for me.

Fair enough. The 20A wiring is the 12V output, not the mains.
