No Thermister & SD Card

Hi,

New to the Ormerod, but have had it for a year and finally got around to finishing it !

We the the Ormerod 1 original RS Orange version.

We had it working and printed our first piece, usual trials etc. But really impressed. We had this issue during setup but re-installing the firmware seemed to resolve it. However now when starting it up Pronterface says connecting and then repeats
T:B 19.4
T:B 19.4
T:B 19.4
etc. even though the Watch box has not been ticked and the printer says it is "offline" if I try and send M or G codes

I can connect via the Arduino interface and serial monitor, and enter M503 I get
Can't open 0:/sys/config.g to read from. Error code: 1

I am going to try a different SD card, but any other ideas ?? We are using the latest firmware etc..

The temperature reading issue is caused by the failure to read the SD card. The SD cards shipped with red O1s gave a lot of problems. Hopefully, a new SD card will fix it.

It was indeed the SD card.

Now Happily Printing a Chess set

I have just encountered this problem, its coming up as:

Can't open 0:/sys/config.g to read from. Error code: 4
