Hello, I haven't done any printing in a while as I've had other distractions, but thought you might be interested in this.
I have a number of unused, sealed filament reels waiting on the shelf here to be used. I noticed the other day that on one of the reels the filament is shattered in at least ten or twelve places.
Now the reels haven't been in sun light, or moved around, and the temperature in the room isn't constant, but it doesn't change that much.
I can only presume that where it's been on the reel the stresses are finally getting to much for the the filament, and so it shatters.
Just thought you might be interested.
Hopefully 'tween now and Christmas I might get back to doing some printing....
