Hello,

what about the config.g? How is your network-setup? How many switches? How many devices are connected at the same network? What kind of switch like 100 mbit? Are foreign networks connected to the switch?

Kind regards,

Sven

P.S.: Sorry I have to ask but we had one case here and we got later the information that there was a streaming network on the same subnet so there were not enough ressources for the communication of the Ormerod.

Thanks for the info,
I only have the ormerod, a nas and the main computer running at the moment, all via a netgear 10/100/1000 switch which is connected to the router.
What does Network: Connection error, code -11 actually mean?
What tests can I do to help resolve this?

I asked for the config.g. For the error explanation the expert knowledge of dc42 or ZPL would be needed, but maybe there is a problem with your config.g. After I checked this I may have other ideas. I personally use some kind of sequencer to detect an error (private or job) which is for me very effective.
Also which Pronterface version? Which settings? Probably it is an error of Pronterface. As long as all works properly I would ignore this problem.

Network connection error -11 means that a TCP connection has been reset and I suspect your PC to be the reason - I don't get any with my configuration here. If you're interested in why this is happening, you may want to check out this article. OTOH, if everything is working, there's probably no need to investigate this any further.
