Webinterface request
December 13, 2016 01:31PM
I have version 1.12 and i am highly annoyed by the stacking notifications since they cover the move buttons after i press one 4 times... and was wondering is there anywhere i can disable them? i have looked and i cant find anything related to it.

They time out automatically in version 1.13.

Ok i have updated to 1.13 and i'm still geting them over the move buttons. You must have missunderstood me . I mean can it be made so only 2 are active at time? more then 2 the first would go away instantly. becouse when i press for example Y+10 for 5 times they stack over the buttons when i wanted to go 6 times over and i cant click on the button anymore.

What are you doing that is causing so many messages to be generated?

I was trying to adjust my auto bed compensation the H parameter in Bed.g file ,so i was using it to jog to corners and see how much diference there was till nozzle would grip the paper ,guess i could just use simple Gcode to get there. Guess its not a big deal ,since i rarely use it but when i do it annoys me atleast.

I am asking in case there is a firmware bug to be fixed. You appear to be using M120 commands, which is unusual. I guess you have written some macro files. Can you share them? Also, which firmware version are you running?

Im not using any other then the ones that were on your github for sd card files. M120 is from the jog buttons.

Something is wrong because using the jog buttons shouldn't cause the commands to be echoed, which is what appears to be happening. Please post your config.g file. Which firmware version are you using?

Sorry, I haven't yet found any way to view .g files as text files on an Android tablet (suggestions welcome!). I'll look at it tomorrow assuming I remember.

The only thing I can see wrong with that is the "r" character at the very start of the file, assuming you pasted the file contents correctly. I don't think it should prevent the firmware from reading the following M111 S0 command to turn debug off, but I guess it might. Try sending M111 S0 manually anyway, then use the jog controls and see if the messages have stopped.

I removed the "r" in the begining ,it still does M120 ,i also tried sending M111 S0 manualy with same result. While i have your attention if i use Software reset gcode(M999 or Emergency stop) it will not reconnect to the firmware till i turn my ormerod off and on again.

So much confusion about one checkbox smiling smiley Go to Settings -> User Interface and disable "Log any successful G-code". That should prevent the notifications from popping up when you press a button on the web interface.

Maybe it's time to refine this behaviour a bit in my next web interface version.
