Also, if I'm not mistaken I should be able to turn them down to getting about 1A, and they should still have a torque of about 0.5 Nm.
Right, so now it's just that damn waiting for them parts to arrive... Blimey, why is China so far away?

In Australia which is close to China really, it still takes about 5 weeks for the free postage to arrive. If you want it quick, 3-4 days, you have to pay for a courier service and that is very expensive.
If you want good motors cheap and want quantity, try this guy, he has been very helpful to me.

Why not build a Smartrap from the start? You can buy the plastic parts on eBay or I'm sure someone here on the forums to would be willing to print you a set.

Well, first of all I got the wood, and secondly I will remix it a little to get rid of the 6mm rods (these are totally impossible to find around here, and I already have 8mm),and lastly it seems a bit... Too easy. I want to challenge myself and create something from scratch, since that gives me a sense of enormous well-being. =D

Rural South Australia is like the suburbs compared to foresty Sweden, I'll tell you. ;-)
Or, well, not totally, but since one metre of 6 mm axis rod is worth about 40 Swedish crowns (£4 or something) at the most (might even get it for half that price once I find a bloody seller), there's no way I will pay about 120 crowns for shipping, since I can't get it in my town. I was lucky to score that 8 mm rod locally
