SmartCore CAD file in Inventor & step format.

Not good at editing 3D object in code, so I clone the SmartCore (version 1.2.4 I believe) in Inventor and exported a step file.

I posted it in github for other who may find it useful (No intention to update this further):

I actually deleted the E3D V6 before release, because too lazy to find the source to attribute its origin.

Now adding E3D back with attribution to the author lXGaimMasterXl.

Nice work smiling smiley

did you know we are actually redoing all ( with a smartrapcore frame alu ) in onshape ? We found it good enough and everyone will have the real sources ( sketches and layers ) . It will be ready this week .

Thanks, Serge!

Drawing the 3d model let me play with the belt path without actually building one. Now finishing my bot, I tried to use single 30mm long bushing on each rod to avoid binding, but the nozzle swing back 0.5mm on direction change. Switching back to 2 bushings per rod now, can't wait to see it printing.

I think putting the design on onshape is a good idea, it will increase the speed of improvement. It's aboout time to sign up finally!!!
