hi all,
Is smart core good printer to start with for a newbie to 3d printers (i have a very good technical background)
is it better to get a heated bed to the kit and a power supply of course (i most probably will print with PLA only)

I don't know about the smartcore but I know on my Prusa the heated bed makes it easier to print pla.

Hi guys,

The SmartRapCore is a good printer to start with.
It's pretty easy to be assembled, it prints pretty well and it can be fast too.
Through, if you source the parts by yourself, it will be pretty cheap.
You can do the frame with just a straight edge and a skillsaw.

PLA allows to print without heatbed. BUT, a print bed cost under 10 bucks, and helps a lot.
You want to get one, definitely.
