Microswitch lever woes; two levers broken on my Funbot

Wasn't sure where to ask, but the Y and X switches on my Funbot just broke right off during assembly. They're the makerbot style, they still work but now the axes can't hit the end stop.

I really don't want to replace perfectly functional switches for a cheap tin lever. Maybe extend the endstop actuator points on the machine to compensate and still hit?

Also was not sure where to post this so I went with the machine specific.

I had similar problems and changed my setup to use long button tactile switches. You need to reverse the logic in the firmware.
The tactile worked so good, I now use them for the Z probe too.Very accurate, cheap and small size.
