I see versions of the Core (MDF version) on Thingiverse, JSCAD, GIT and tons of remixes and tweaks. Is there any place to go that I can find the latest and greatest files all in one place that us 8mm rods and includes a bill of material.

You can see the build for wood/alu and download stls. Have a search in onshape there are many files shared showing this printer.
No BOM though.
Oh, and if you would like help with that I can do that. My MDF was a different thickness then what the SmartRap was designed for, so I had to teach myself onshape and made them all the right size.
