jhead "doppio" e filamento

ciao
ho un jhead con la possibilità di utilizzare sia filamento da 1,75 e sia 3 mm cambiando il tubicino all'interno.

vorrei un consiglio su che diametro utilizzare per iniziare a stampare e quindi quale filamento se abs o pla tenendo presente che ho un mk2a

Devi cambiare non solo il tubicino ma anche l'ugello.
In quanto al materiale ti posso consigliare il PLA

No, l'ugello cambia anche in base al filamento in ingresso, non solo per il diametro in estrusione

This J-Head can be used for both 1.75mm and 3.00mm filament. To use it for 1.75mm filament your will unscrew the hollow lock screw and insert the PTFE tube for the 1.75mm filament. To change it for the 3.00mm filament you will unscrew the hollow lock screw and remove the inner 1.75mm PTFE tubing.

This hot-end is a combination of ideas from other nozzle designs combined with a goal to reduce the number of custom machined parts to a bare minimum. The J-Head Mk-V has been proven to print reliably with both ABS and PLA. (PLA will require a small fan to provide air-flow through the cooling vents milled in the sides of the nozzle holder.)

This hot-end easily interfaces with the most popular RepRap extruders, including Wade's Extuder, Greg Frost's Hinged Accessible Extruder, etc.

Max temperature is 250degree Celsius.

Su RRW vendono nozzle sia per filo da 3 che da 1,75.
Immagino che con il nozzle per il filo da 3 magari puoi anche usarlo con filo da 1,75 (cambiando il PTFE) ma non l'inverso.
Non so dirti però se funziona bene perchè ti ritroveresti un filo sottile in una "camera di fusione" grande.
Io utilizzo filo da 3 mm ed ho nozzle da 0,5 e 0,3 ma sono alle prime stampe quindi vado più per intuito che per esperienza, vediano se qualche "guru" ci dà una risposta definitiva
