I'm in Indian Trail and have built a prusa mendel and in the process of building a RoStock Max.

Greetings...

I am in Gastonia. I have a 3D Systems Cube printer and a Makerbot 2X on order. I mostly use it for engineering samples but have printed a few hobby items too.

Hopefully with warm weather there will be some groups meeting up....do you know of any?

I wish I knew of groups meeting in our area.

I desperately need help in my Prusa Mendel 3d printer. Can't seem to get past moving the Axis's correctly.

Using a Gen6 board and the latest Marlin Firmware.

Let me know if you hear of anyone meeting in the Charlotte area.

I'm in the Mount Holly area and would love to get together. Ive got a "very" used Cupcake as well as Prusa Mendel ( rebuilding ) and various parts to start an i3 build...

Hey guys, you should check out the hackerspace up in Charlotte.

Hackerspace Charlotte

There's a lot of knowledge up there around 3d printers. I'd guess somewhere between 20-30 printers have been built there, including some mendels, i3, delta, and others. Lots of nice folks and a good resource for you. I think Thursday nights are still the open build nights, but check the calendar on the site.
