Bondtech BMG extruder and Rapido HF hotend

I am replacing my current E3d-V6 hotend with a Phaetus Rapido Plus, in a Bondtech BMG extruder.
I am wondering if a short PTFE tube is required to mate the Rapido with the BMG, as it is done with the E3D-V6.
Has anyone had any experience with this ?
