Help! Software issues and on a timeline

Okay, so after trying prontrface which showed no graphic interface and would only appear as a command line and wouldn't connect to my mendel, I tried replicatorg. This seemed to work until i connected my printer and I couldn't get the mendel profile to work. I tried to adjst the baud rate to 250000 but it still wouldn't connect. I am running sanguinololu 1.3 with sprinter which I got tested with bootloader and firmware tested from botronicz. I really like replicatorg's interface and the documentation but it just won't work! What am I doing wrong?

Well if you want a quick way to get going try repetier --Repetier Host Install Just started working with it and I think it's great!!
I also have the same botronicz board, I ended up putting Marlin on it, but I have had no issues with it so far

Try setting the baud rate to 115200.

If you still want to use Pronterface, your probably missing one of the python packages it depends on. You need pyserial, pyreadline and wxPython. Run the software from a command line to get a more useful error message from it.

It will work with any standard RepRap firmware, including Sprinter.

I'll go with Andrew on checking the baud rate also, I can't remember if mine was set t 115200 when I got it or not. I do know now I am running 250000 but I think that's set in the firmware.
