Reprap Mendel air print issue

Hello,

I finish my RepRap Mendel and everythinh seems ok but I cannot print.
When press Print, the Mendel moves in X and Y and Z axis but it does not extrude filament.

I send manually a command M92 E200 bedore press the Print button but nothing change.
If I press the Extrude button, the filament motor feeds the extruder with filament.
When printing, the extruder motor never feeds

Any tips or hints of what I have to do to fix this issue?

Then your gcode probably does not contain E values.
If you are using Skeinforge you must turn on (activate) the Dimension plugin/module.

@rhmorrison Thanks, I had turn on the Dimension plugin and now it extrudes filament

I succeed to print but (yes there is a but) the piece is full of gap between filaments.

I have follow the instruction of page [reprap.org]
I extruded a 100mm filament when asking 100mm. By default, the figure is 875 steps/mm and I found the suitable figure for my printer to be 902 steps/mm.

The gaps are soo many the piece collapsed on itself. What can I do now?
Do I have to choose a new steps/mm ? or is it a skeinforge options?

How fast are you printing. It's possible that when extruding into thin air your hotend can keep up, but it's having back pressure issues when the end is covered during print.

Try printing very slowly and see if the problem goes away.

Also a photo would help!

I don't know what is the speed. In the interface it's noted 200mm/min for extrusion.
