Hey peeps, so ive finshed my build and have completed several prints without much issue, however, i switched it on today highly exicted to print something else and before i can even get started its reading my hotend temp at 185 degrees C, no idea why, any suggestions as what it could be?

Do you mean its reading 185C with the hot-end cold?

So, is that the temp you normally use (PLA)? Seems an amazing coincidence - maybe try re-installing your host s/w - is it Pronterface?
Was your power supply unplugged and USB disconnected before you started today?

Well found the issue, the legs of the Thermistor were broken, it must have broken during a print, im not sure how tho as it was taped up tight, got another Thermistor on order just need to figure out the best way to attach the new Thermistor as the original was premade
