Pronterface missing buttons in MacBookPro Retina

Hey all, i'm running a macbook pro retina, and when i try and use pronterface, i'm missing the GET POS button. I've tried both the version i got from the github link: [koti.kapsi.fi] and the precompiled binary linked from the reprappro docs: [www.reprappro.com]

i can connect just fine and get the temp though.

this is the first time i've ever installed this app on this machine. in the instructions it says to delete the ".pronsolerc and/or .skeinforge" files in ~/. i only had .pronsolerc, which was created today. i deleted it and relaunched the buttons are still missing in the github one, and still all smashed up/screwy in the reprap one.

The github one seems to act a little better. maybe i can just add the button manually, what's the Macro that it's supposed to be using?

The bottom one looks like the version I have on this machine (which is the same Mac as yours). What's a get pos button? (as in it's never been there on my version). I just type M114 and hit send...
