CURA Bridging

I have been testing out LISA Simpson. I have gotten her dialed in with Slic3r but wanted to try CURA. I am very impressed with how well CURA works for a bowden setup. I was about to switch exclusively to CURA until I tried a bridge test. The test I used has a 71mm bridge on the top and each one below it is 10mm shorter.

This is using Slic3r and I forgot to set my retraction right for my bowden setup so it is hairier than it needed to be but all and all it was a very successful test.

When I tried to use CURA (13.12) the perimeter would bridge correctly but the infill would be perpendicular to the direction of the bridge. This worked surprisingly but it was so very nasty.

How do I fix this?

I was wondering same thing. I really like cura tool paths and print quality but bridging is a mess.

Hi,

Have you got a link to the bridging test stl ? CURA 14.01 seems to handle bridging OK for me but I'd like to try your model.

Oh! A newer version. I will try it as well. Here is the stl.
