MendelMax 1.5 Z motor mount supports

Planning a MendelMax 1.5 build, using 8mm instead of the usual 10mm rails

looking at the thingiverse for MM 1.5 files:
MM 1.5 STL files

theres files for these RP parts:
Z_lower_motor_mount_10mm
'Z_lower_motor_mount_10mm_support 'normal' quantity 2
Z_lower_motor_mount_10mm_support 'mirrored' qantity 2


I've found a replacement for the stl file for:
Z_lower_motor_mount_10mm

with:
Z_lower_motor_mount_8mm_2_copies.stl

at
8mm rail files


but the latter doenst refer at all to these files:
'Z_lower_motor_mount_10mm_support 'normal' quantity 2
Z_lower_motor_mount_10mm_support 'mirrored' qantity 2

first , do I need to go find a Z_lower_motor_mount_8mm_support or will the 10mm support work with the 8mm motor mount?

second , since there are 2 z motors mounts, presumably you can print either 2 normal of 2 mirrored, you don’t need to print all 4 , is that right?

Note, in case its relevant I have to hand two Thrust Bearings from my original MM 1.0 planned build
Also, for the z axis threaded rods I will be using 6mm instead of the more usual 8mm.

All you need in 8mm size is the motor mount and clasp. The supports just attach to the side of the mount, and do not contact the 10mm rod, so the 10mm version will work with the 8mm motor mount. You need 2 each of mirrored and normal supports. Take a look at the assembly image there on thingiverse to see how the z motor mount is set up.
