blower fan not running

so im trying to use a 12v blower fan as a part cooling fan, but i cant get it to run. the only way it will start is if i hand start it or if i flip the polarity and then flip it again i know everything else works (wiring, firmware, slicer side of things) because i tried it with other fans. any ideas?

What percentage is it running at?
Mine wont even start turning till about 40-50%
Send the Gcode (M106 S255) to the printer without quotations and it should spin the fan at 100% You can select from 0-255 (0-100%)
I bet your firmware has your fan speed set too low.
If this fan has a higher current rating than the other fans then it will need more power to even start.

yeah ive tried that but nothing ive tried changing the fan to different pins and using the m42 command to turn it on but still nothing unless i push start it

Connect it directly to the power supply and see if it runs. If not, get a new fan.
