Just tried to install repetier since I wasn't getting anywhere with sprinter or marlin and I got this error:

I am assuming you are using MotherBoard == 62 right?

Go to pins.h tabs in arduino and look for the Sanguinololu Motherboard ==62 section

replace this line 

#ifndef __AVR_ATmega644P__


with this

#if !defined(__AVR_ATmega644P__) && !defined(__AVR_ATmega1284P__)


Then try compiling again.

I just checked and the first line (at mega 644p) was already commented out. Any other suggestions?

Have you updated avrdude.conf on your arduino? The older version does not recognize the 1284P.

I just tried it again and it is now compiling but won't upload. I get the nice little binary output when it finishes compiling but the second I hit upload, it spits out errors.

looks to me that the avrdude.conf was not updated properly since it still doesnt recognize the 1284P.

I should also say that was for arduino 1.0

for arduino 0023, this is the new error I'm getting.
