extruder stepper motor not moving via the control panel ,Anet A8

Hi Guys ,

I have a problem with the extruder stepper motor not moving through the control panel
But it works when changing the plug to Y
The new printer has not yet worked
I am flashed Marlin 1.1.9
MY Printer Anet A8 Board V 1.7
What do you think is the problem?

E will not move unless hotend is hot.

Dust is correct. We assume you have a way of separating lack of extrude stepper movement from a clogged extruder. When you start a print, the extruder will go to the home position and wait for the extruder and bed to reach set temperatures. Of course, if the extruder temperature is set too low to melt the filament, it cannot extrude.
