heat bed error

Hi,

i recently installed my first heat bed to my 3d printer but unfortunately during the print after heating both the heat bed and the hot end up the print stops and pronterface displays this error message

[ERROR] Error:MINTEMP triggered, system stopped! Heater_ID: bed

Error: Printer halted. kill() called!
[ERROR] Error: Printer halted. kill() called!

this hasn't happened before I installed the heatbed

i really want to get this printer working

Min temp is normally caused by your thirmistor wires being shorted together

Read the lcd, or use gcode M105 and see what the bed temperature reads. if it doesn't read close to room temperature you have an issue.

hi thank you for replying.
I did as you said and found that my thermistor temperature isn't the same as the room temperature its about 20celcius degrees more than room temp.

does this mean i have to change my thermistor or is there a way to fix it?

Your TEMP_SENSOR_BED has to be set to the type of thermistor you have

i use a creality thermistor so i set it to:
200k thermistor - ATC Semitec 204GT-2 (4.7k pullup)

is this the correct TEMP_SENSOR_BED type for my creality thermistor??
