I'm a newcomer beginning research on my first build, which will hopefully become a working Prusa. It seems that the most ambiguous parts of the construction are the heated bed and power supply. From what I've read, it appears that most builders (?) are putting separate power supplies to their heated bed and the actual printing electronics. Though I've seen technical specifications for voltage and amperage for them, I have not seen a recommended brand/model of power supply like other components. I have two questions:
1) Are there any recommended power supplies, and what is the basis for those recommendations?
2) Has anyone constructed a design that uses a single power supply for both the build mechanism and the heated bed?
