End stop wire thikness

Hi,

Almost done on the wiring, got a little issue regarding the wires to use on the end stops. The instructions state that we could use the excess wire from the motors for the end stops connections. My problem is that the excess wire from the motors is very short ... they must be reducing their lengths grinning smiley .

I have some remains from a sound installation I have done a few years ago. They are 0,5 mm thickness and state they are suitable for up to 3 A / 600 W.

Can I use it for the end stops?

Thanks.

Mine came pre-wired with 30g wire which is about .25mm. They seem to work fine. Shouldn't be much current through them at all.

Cheers

The endstops should be using almost zero current, so any thickness wire should be fine

Thank you all ... I used the 0,5 mm and they are working.

Almost ready for the first print ... all the motor tests pass OK. Next is bed leveling ... getting excited about it ... smiling smiley
