Filament Not Sticking to Bed

Hey guys, I saw many other topics on this same problem but none with my specific setup. As you know from the title, I'm having trouble getting my filament to stick. I have a Prusa Mendel V2 from MakerFarm. It is setup with a heated bed covered with tempered glass and kapton tape on the glass surface (only in the main print area). My filament is 3mm ABS and the nozzle is .5mm. I use Slic3r (v 8.4) as my settings controler and prontrface for the printer interface. I have attached what my current settings are set at in Slic3r under Printer and Filament. I have also measured what the original home point for the Z axis and it is no higher than a single sheet of paper. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Right..
Increase your 1st layer nozzle temp to 235 then remainder 230
Increase your 1st layer bed temp to110 and leave it there.
I don't use kapton so can't comment but I would recommend using clean glass with a diluted layer (4 water to 1) of PVA glue - about 3 separate applications, but its up to you
Check your nozzle gap is a fairly tight sheet of copy paper (between .05 and .1mm MAX) all over.
I noticed you have your filament size set at 3mm - this is only a start figure, you must measure it in several place to get an average.

Thanks waitaki. I'll take your advice and implement it today and see how it works. Don't have much else to do now that school is out.
