My first RepRap Graber i3-aluminium frame
September 14, 2013 04:06PM
Hi All!
My name is Damian, and I'm a new RepRapper.
I'm build my first RepRap Graber i3
I have minimal budget, but I have a lot of persistence, and patience.
My frame is build from aluminum 6082 T6 , 6mm thickness.
I'm trying to build all using only laser cut parts because i have access to laser and waterjet as well.

I'm using 8 mm 316 stainless steel rods, and LM8UU 8mm Linear Ball Bearings
Threaded rod is 6mm stainless steel
I plan to use RAMPS 1.4 electronics

Thanks for any good and bad words about my build

Edit: to fix a spelling mistake that was a bad word

Looks nice. The only thing I would recommend is that the smooth rods be hardened. Otherwise the LM8UU's will wear grooves in them.
