Okay so I just bought the prusa I3 from a friend and he told me that all I needed is a 12V power supply. I was first thinking of just using a computer power supply that I have but then I looked around on ebay and I found this

Would this be suitable to power up my 3d Printer?

My MendelMax kit came with one of these.

It does work OK, but the fan rattles quite a lot, and I think I'm eventually going to have to take the lid off and see whats going on :-(
