MendelMax 2.0 Extruder problem

Hello Guys!

I am bulding right now a MendelMax 2.0. This will be my very first 3d printer. I stopped at the extruder, couse The original design uses Head Mk V-BV Hotend, but Its much easier (for me) to buy J-Head MK-V HotEnd. The maxstruder is compatible with it? What if I choose a complitly another extruder, e.g Greg's Wade extruder? Can I solve the assembly with the original parts? I've already cut out the aluminium parts, and got all the printed parts.

Thanks Guys

I'm also thinking on the all metal g3d hotend... That one is compatible with the design right?

The Maxstruder is a groovemount setup so all those will work. The two Jheads you mention are basically the same except the thermistor hole. The e3d needs a different lower filament guide available here: [www.dropbox.com]

The MendelMax 2 carriage should support a wades or gregs extruder.
