Hack for Change [freespace] SF

Hello All!

I'm part of a movement called [freespace].
We provide a space for anyone to come and host events, be creative, and hack anything and everything!
We get spaces for free, organize a things here and there and then turn it over to the community to see what they want to create it into!

We just reopened at a new location on 6th and Market in SF.
Currently it is purely a raw space for amazing things to occur, we're ripping down walls, flashmob meditating, making parcel box furniture & taking names!
It'd be amazing to have a RepRap in [freespace] to advocate the possibilities of 3D printing and of course print miscellaneous items for our space.


How can we make this happen?!!

Hmmm... speaking from Nottingham Hackspace in the UK, it took quite a while for the message to get out to interested parties.

The space happened first, the repraps needed a place to get built.

They're still being built, and it is my personal goal to get an operational community 3D printer for all the people here to have access to an learn from. Some 3 years after the first local Hackspace became a going concern,

So don't give up, it takes time, and you have to have the space before the printers get built.
