Prusa i2 Z-Rod Distances

Hello everyone. I am building a large format 3d printer and I am currently using the x-ends and carriage from the Prusa Mendel iteration 2 until I design and test my own. I am designing the z-motor mounts and rod holders, and I was wondering if anyone knew the distance between the center of the M8 threaded rod and the 8mm smooth rod for the x-ends. Thank you, any help appreciated!

29.5 mm (measured it on the STL file).

I seem to remember it being 30mm between centers

The tolerances for my nut in the x ends aren't too precise, so the wiggle of the nut should compensate for the .5mm or so.
