Extruder hot end on lathe

Hello all,

I have tried to find a drawing of the extruder so I can turn one at work (hot end) . I don't know if I'll manage to drill the 0.3 nozzle but the rest should be no problem. I saw that a piece of ptfe tubing goes right down to the nozzle, seeing that this is high temp plastic it won't melt?

Can anybody give me drawings or dimensions or can I basically just make my own design as long as the filament goes inside nicely (simply said).

I am building a Prusa i3 rework and want to also use the genius idea behind the bolden extruder to keep weight off the z axis for faster printing.

Also I have read about the nozzle shouldn't be too fine, does the accuracy increase with a finer nozzle or do the problems increase?

I would be great to hear from you guys.

Cheers
