Which Motor Wires should i use?

Hi!
I just got these motors:

i got ramps 1.4 which have 4 outputs per motor.
How can i check which of those wires i have to use and what order should i connect them?

Did the motors come with the dampeners, and if so got a link.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by the dampener (english is not my main language) Do you mean those metal parts on top?

Use a led, is the easiest way, check this:

also, manufacturers often wive the information about wiring, you'll get 2 pairs A and B, you can connect them in any order:

(1) A- A+ B- B+
(2) A+,A- ;B+; B-
(3) B+ B- A+ A-
(4) B- B+ A- A+
Always Power off the board before make any swap!


Why? because you can flip over the cable and plug it upside down and (ie.) setup 1 becomes 3 and motor just spins backwards, ( 2 becomes 4 in the same way)
You'll notice strage movements and vivrations if you wire it in the wrong way, just as seen in next video tutorial of the same guy on youtube: [youtu.be]
