MINTEMP triggered

Hi folks,

My printer has been running great for the past few weeks. Today I started to get printer shutoffs. The log tells me "MINTEMP" triggered. However, the thermistors are working perfectly. The data shows up in the graphs in pronterface just fine.

Not sure where else to look now.

Thanks!

MINTEMP happens with high resistance on thermistors, so maybe you are having an intermittent open-circuit on your thermistor somewhere.

Pronterface only polls every second or so, so it could miss a quick open circuit / infinite resistance / MINTEMP.

Yes sounds like a bad connection could be heat bed or hot end thermistor

Is there a way to poll the thermistor every 0.1 second or so? I would like to see a quickly updating graph while I jiggle the thermistors around and see if I can get them to go open.

Thanks!

I was having an intermittent MINTEMP triggered error as well. Turned out to be cross-talk from the extruder stepper wiring and the thermistor, which I was able to see by putting a scope on the input to the board, I replaced the thermistor wire with sheilded twisted pair and have never had the problem again,.

Good call. Perhaps I will try shielding there. Thank you!
