nothing much to say...i had smartrap, and that waz so slow, bad printer, had messed with my zen thing and i have crashed it into wall

so, new quickie, p3steel, with some modifications:
-10 mm smoothrods for y axis
-removed heavy steel bed and made from dibond
-removed lasercut triangles from main frame
-added some more steel around y axis to maintain rigidity...
-it wil be bowden high speed setup.

so here is it....finally i have made heated chamber.

its from 12 mm MDF only glued.

tomorrow i need to cut plexiglass doors on my cnc router and print hinges and handle.
heated chamber is pretty big. 600x600x700 mm, but thats because i change approx 4-5 different printers every year so i dont know whats next smiling smiley

sooo.... i have digital thermostat on 220V, 500 w heater and some fan, everything works standalone on 220 V.
i bought also ss relay, if this is working good il maybe remowe heated bed and connect heated chamber instead.

for now i know that pla sticks tooo good on plexiglas, and i also see that profi printers with heated chamber dont use heated bed...
so it time for experimenting.....

today i mocked up box to see how it works...
with just foil(i still have to make acrylic door)
and without heating system i got over 40 celsius in box. abs prints are looking good for now.

next step: replacing all pla parts with abs and try to print abs on 80 degrees celsius without heated bed.

il maybe burn som electronic or stepper..will see
