Fan wiring???

I am using a Sanguinololu 1.3a, Marlin firmware and a LCD 2004 control. How would i hook up a fan to my hot end?

To cool the print or the hotend? For the hotend just wire it to your power supply so it is always on. For the print...not familiar with that board, but my guess would be the output for the second extruder, if it has one and you aren't running 2 heads.

For the print. There is only 1 extruder output. I would like the option of turning of and on with the slice settings.

You have to add a external board to control a fan with a Sanguinololu (its the budget controller, nothing extra)

You can buy things like [www.thingiverse.com]

Or you can hack one together like [www.instructables.com]

Yes, but my problem is that the LCD 2004 plug takes up ALL 20 of the IO and ISP pins.

This is where the fan gets connected, but the pins are not on my board. Does anyone know where I can buy the male and female ends from?

Those are just 12v pins, always on, no firmware fan control.
