Unknown Aurora controller

Hi All
I have a new Aurora 605S printer and it is working great.

I would like to update and fine tune the firmware, but I do not know what controller I have.

I have been to the manufactures web site and even searched Google images, but I have not seen another one like it.

I know it is running marlin firmware but that is as far as I have gotten.

I have included an image, so if anyone recognizes or has another way to identify it please let me know.

looks like a one board ramps type solution.

Check the main chip for a 2560 or a 1284p type number...

If it is one of those it should be possable to get a standard marlin onto it, BUT and this is a large but, you will need to work out what pins are connected to what part of the board.

After looking it is a 2560 chip.

The board currently has Marlin 1.0.0 firmware running on it.

So if I were to use Arduino to load Marlin 1.0.1 on it what board would I select from the list, and how do I determine the pins?

that’s the tricky bit... you either have to trace out the cct board or be provided with the pin definitions from the supplier

It may be compatible with something that already exists, but there is no way to know till you trace it out.

nice.. now if only the manufactuters would be nice enough to spend that extra 1c per board and put a label on it, eveyone would be happy!

I do see that the images above do have a label, just the first image doesnt...
