Prusa i3 - Sourcing Parts

Hello everyone!

I'm new here and I am taking the plunge into 3D printing - for my first effort, I am building a Prusa i3...
Currently, I am sourcing parts, or trying to..

I am having a time trying to discern what I'm after when it comes to the hot end / extruder..
I'm looking to build a precision machine, so I don't want to cheap out, but I'm also aware that paying a bunch o money really doesn't guarantee quality parts.
From what I've seen, I like the idea of a stainless steel hot end, but I'm having trouble finding one in stock...
Also, it looks like a hot end comes with some extruders, as well as a NEMA 17 motor..

Can someone with some practical experience on the matter please school me just a bit or just point me to the parts you wish you'd bought on your first build?

I humbly thank you in advance for your good advice.

E3D V6 for the Hotend they are the Dogs Danglies as we would say in the UK I soon replaced my kit supplied JHead clone with one.

+1 for E3D, with a geared extruder and a hobbgoblin bolt. Try to buy powerful motors, at last 65oz.in.

Collective intelligence emerges when a group of people work together effectively. Prusa i3 Folger (A lot of the parts are wrong, boring !)
