Hi,
On the attached picture, you can see nice stylish waves, on a side surface. Except, I never programmed those, and would like to know how to get rid of them.

That's called ghosting. It's caused by the weight of your x-axis (assuming you printed it on a XZ-head style RepRap). You can print slower or reduce the mass of the extruder (i.e. bowden extruder).

The Marlin firmware also has a setting for max accelleration. If you bump that down, it could help.

Should have the same settings. Marlin was based off Sprinter, accel and all. You really should upgrade to Marlin, though. What printer are you using?
