Rostock not printing even! Helphot smiley

Hello,

I have my Rostock built and it prints perfectly but only in the center, when i try and print something big, the middle prints fine but the outer edges are not level with the middle. its higher in the middle than on the edges. I have tried setting the DELTA_SMOOTH_ROD_OFFSET and that doesn't seem to help. The bed is level. is there anything else I can do? THANKS

You need to adjust the delta radius in whatever firmware you are using. If the print head is higher at the centre than at the edges, reduce the delta radius setting. If it is lower at the centre, increase it instead. The amount you need to adjust it by is roughly 2 to 2.5 times the height difference bvetween the centre and the edges.

Google something like minow delta calibration. There is an iterative process where you calibrate the height of the three towers so that the hotend touches the bed at z=0. You then adjust your delta radius (rod offset depending on firmware) so that the center of the build plate touches the bed at z=0.
