What Prusa i3 Derivate should I pick?

Hello all, I have been looking around for what is the best Prusa i3 Derivate. (I have access to a laser cutter and a 3D printer.)
Or should I go with the original prusa i3.

So many options, I really need help figuring out what one is the best that I can use a laser cutter to make the frame.

Well, I like the way the Mendel90 is engineered. To me it overtakes the I3. Don't cut an acrylic frame. Acrylic is rubbish. Use the thicker mdf your laser is able to cut. The thicker, the better. The mobile parts needs to be light, but the fixed parts are better if they're heavy.
