PCB Drawing on I3

Hi. I want to make PCBs by painting it with permanent marker and then to the ferric chloryde. I use KiCAD to design the PCB, but I cant find any free software for Linux who convert the GERBER, or SVG, or PNG output to GCODE!
This is my idea, but using my I3: Video PCB
I tried using Inkscape, but it only gives the gcode of the perimeters, not painting the inner areas.
Can you give me a hint?
Thanks!

Import the svg into 123d design, extrude to .3mm, then export stl. set your slicer to .3mm layer height, temps to zero bed, zero hot end, print..

sounds good in theory smiling smiley

But i'm sure the inkscape gcoder plugin would work, but i think you may be missing a step. Like, did you convert all your objects to paths? Do your objects have strokes?

The gcode follows the strokes, not the fills.

Maybe this page could be of use. You'd probably have to edit the Gcode manually later as it adds some router specific gcode (like T commands). I used it succesfully to mill and engrave with this machine (http://www.fabtotum.com/) so it should be of use for you.

This is the problem Im having with inkscape. This is the PCB design before:

And this is after ( notice the routes arent what we expect):

What do you think I should do?
Thanks.

This is for milling, but the principle is similar. [reprap.org]
