Cant get any commands to upload fully in Arduino..

Any ideas? It only shows progress to about 9/10 of the bar and does nothing else....grrrr had this for a month and still cannot get the damn thing to work or load

What OS, what version of the arduino IDE, what firmware, what controller board?

Some clues would help us to help you!!

What about something small like the blink sketch does that upload?

Tired a different short shelded USB cable?
